Hello!
I’m a Senior 3D and 2D Marketing Artist with over 10 years of collective experience in design, including 8+ years in the games industry. I specialise in creating high-impact visuals, from key art and marketing campaigns to world-building, lighting, and cinematic compositions.
I have a history and background in graphic design, though I've decided to pursue the niche career path of marketing art in recent years.
I focus on crafting images that not only look striking, but communicate clearly and connect with an audience. My primary focus is telling a story through environments, lighting and composition. Over the years, I’ve worked across major global IPs including Sonic the Hedgehog, Call of Duty, and a range of other well known brands, producing content seen by millions of players worldwide, my favourite piece? It's the snoop dog image on MWIII; SO much went into that and I really could go on about the process of it all.
My process typically starts in 3D, where I build and light scenes, before pushing the final image further through post-production to achieve a more refined, painterly finish. This hybrid approach allows me to balance technical precision with creative flexibility.
Alongside my professional work, I also run a personal project called 2204, where I explore ideas, experiment with style, and continue to develop creative skills.
My Story
I’ve wanted to work in games for as long as I can remember. It started properly back in college, but at the time it never really felt realistic, more like one of those things you hope for rather than expect to happen.
A big part of that drive came from growing up with games like Halo 3 and The Simpsons Game on Christmas 2007. Halo especially stuck with me. It wasn’t just playing it, it was the worlds, the atmosphere, the feeling it created. That’s what made me want to create visuals that could have that same impact. I've met friends through it, been to events, it really has changed my life in unexpected but fantastic ways.
My career didn’t start in games straight away. I began in more traditional design roles, working on retouching and graphic design, building a foundation in composition, layout, and visual communication. Everything changed when I landed my first role in the industry at Dovetail Games. That was the turning point where something that once felt unrealistic became very real.
From there, I moved through a range of studios including Rebellion, nDreams, Sledgehammer Games, Gunzilla, and Rovio. Across those roles I’ve worked on everything from in-game assets and UI to large-scale marketing campaigns and key art seen by millions of players. Over time, I naturally leaned into marketing art, combining my graphic design background with 3D workflows to create more cinematic, high-impact visuals.
Along the way, one thing that’s stayed consistent is my desire to improve. I’m always looking at ways to push my work further, whether that’s refining lighting, composition, or post-processing. I also genuinely enjoy helping others do the same. Teaching and mentoring is something I’ve grown to really value, sharing knowledge, breaking down workflows, and helping others level up.
